How often should my air ducts be cleaned?
The recommended interval for air duct cleaning is every 2-3 years. If your home is in a dusty environment or you have pets that shed a lot, it may need to be done every 1-2 years.
Can I trust the technician in my home?
Yes! Long’s only employs the very best technicians. Our technicians go through a background check, are friendly and trustworthy, and all our technicians are bonded and insured. Rest easy knowing that we would never send someone to your home if we wouldn’t trust them in our own home.
Will there be any dust while my Air Ducts are cleaned?
You can expect a small amount of dust as it settles immediately following the cleaning. The technicians will double check for dust before they pack up their equipment and will dust down anything that needs attention so you can rest easy.
Can you clean the drapery while they hang?
Yes, “Drapery Fresh" is a unique approach to drapery cleaning. With this system, we can clean your drapes in your home or office where they hang! No more bare windows for a week or more! No strong odor! No pick-up and delivery charges! No more shrinking, wilted headers or hems.
Do you do general house cleaning?
We primarily focus on specialized cleaning services. Air Duct Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Tile & Grout Cleaning, and much more… See our list of services here. We do Wall Cleaning, but do not do light dusting, windows, bathroom cleaning, or general house cleaning.
How long does it take for the carpet to dry?
It’s safe to walk with socks right after the cleaning. The carpet will be damp and will be mostly dry in about 6-8 hours. If you removed furniture before our technicians arrived or our technicians put moisture protective blocks and tabs under your furniture, please wait a full day to put the furniture back or to remove the block and tabs. Be sure to keep the house at 70-72 degrees as that temperature really promotes fast drying.
Do I have to be home for the cleaning?
No, you do not have to be home for the cleaning. Long’s only employs the very best technicians. Our technicians go through a background check, are friendly and trustworthy, and all our technicians are bonded and insured. Rest easy knowing that we would never send someone to your home if we wouldn’t trust them in our own home.
Are your cleaning agents safe for my children and pets?
Yes, all of our cleaning agents are Child Safe and Pet Friendly. Our cleaning agents are safer than what you would typically find in your laundry room.
Do I have to leave during the cleaning process?
No, our crew is super flexible and will be happy to do the cleaning while you are present. And if you prefer to leave for the afternoon, that’s fine too. We’re very flexible.
